My name is Stephanie Nickel. I am a freelance writer who lives in St. Thomas, Ontario with my husband of 27 years and our three adult children.

I write and edit articles for Living Stones, a quarterly publication that seeks to "connect the Christian community of Elgin County."

I am currently co-writing a book with Deb Willows about Deb's life as a believer, a paralympian and one who has lived a remarkable life despite Cerebral Palsy.

I am one of the editors for a publishing company based in Southwestern Ontario.

I have been published in Christian Parenting Today and Pray!Kids. I have written several “advertorials” and human interest pieces for the St.Thomas Times-Journal. My first professionally published piece was a devotional in More God’s Abundance (Starburst, 1999).

I won second prize in Crossings Fourth Annual Short Story contest for my story "Picture Perfect."

I have also written several works on a volunteer basis and am a founding member of a writers’ group that meets monthly in London, Ontario. Group members strive to improve our writing skills and encourage one another to pursue our God-given interests and abilities.

I take my responsibilities seriously and seek to produce a high-quality product that will lead to repeat business and confident referrals.

Maybe you have written a book, but want to have it fine tuned before sending it to a publisher. Or perhaps you've penned a manuscript but need someone to do some rearranging and grammar improvements or to type and format it.
